You might be facing one or many of the following:
01
This group keeps the trauma to themselves out of fear or have come forward only to be threatened into silence, lending them to bury the truth deep within. These individuals feel trapped and limited by their own thoughts, believing there is no where they can go to heal or feel safe. They feel they lack the necessary information to heal and recover.
02
This group has reached out for help, maybe several times, started on a path to healing through a support group, therapists, or retreats, books, podcasts, but did not get the right help they needed to finish the journey. This person is stuck in their pain cycle, easily triggered, unable to manage emotions, doesn’t believe they can heal or they believe healing will hurt them more.
03
Those in this group may not know how to overcome but are hopeful they can heal. They are willing and open to learn and do not want to be a victim of their past. They are willing to reach out for help and to keep persevering when they have not found the right help. They are open to education and awareness, and self-reflection, exploring their feelings, fears, and triggers. They are willing to learn healthy coping strategies and set boundaries.
04
You may fear overwhelming emotions, or are paralyzed with avoidance tendencies, feeling stuck - not sure what path to take. You may feel your past abuse is a private matter or overwhelmed with shame and even embarrassment if others find out. These fears stop you from getting the help you need.
Suffering Alone
Have Tried and Stopped
Believe Healing is Possible But Don’t Know How
Overwhelmed
The exclusive HEAL curriculum was created to give survivors a path to healing. To understand the healing journey does not have to be a maze of confusion.
you don't have to do it alone.
but guess what...
I have felt alone and that the path to healing was a maze of confusion. But once I found the right help I grew more in a shorter amount of time then all my years of searching. So I vowed to help other survivors with a curriculum that would educate, give them tools, and action items to get closer to the life they want and further away from their past.
I realized that too many survivors do not heal so I wanted to create resources where they could.

Introducing...
In this stage, you will start to understand that healing is possible, and that healing is a choice. People in this stage may or may not have already started on a path to healing and were unable to finish the journey or they do not know how to finish the journey. All they know is that they want to heal, are learning it is possible, and are willing to reach out for help.
In this stage you are learning what abuse is, the types of abuse you experienced and the negative effects it has had on your life. You are learning about the culture of abuse and victim blaming as well as understanding the importance of believing in your own perceptions and listening to your inner voice. You may or may not still be in denial but are understanding its destructive power. You are also learning about the grooming process of the abuser and starting to have a clearer understanding that the abuse was not your fault.
In this stage, you are learning the abuse was not your fault. You are experiencing a lessening of the shame, self-blame and self-guilt and how breaking the silence is a powerful healing force. You are learning your worth is not predicated on the abuse and are overcoming feeling broken or damaged and that you are worthy of self-love and love from others.
In this stage, you are learning how to express your anger appropriately after abuse and how to stop suppressing your emotions. You are learning how to trust again and who to trust and how to set healthy boundaries. You are also learning that the sexual abuse has affected your understanding of sexuality and intimacy. You are learning how to overcome and regain control of your body and how to set healthy intimacy boundaries.
LET'S BREAK it DOWN
In this stage you are exploring reestablishing a relationship with your higher power or discovering a new one. You are gaining a clear understanding of what forgiveness is and that it is to free you of your past. You are learning that better possibilities are within your grasp, gaining a higher sense of inner belief, and learning that you have a purpose and how to tap into your potential.
We live in a time where victims are expected to stay silent and discouraged from speaking up.
Frankly, it’s ridiculous. Yet, all survivors have hopes and dreams just as anyone else. The past can be an obstacle but it does not need to take a lifetime to overcome. The point is, with the right framework and system you can adopt the HEAL Coaching system to any stage you find yourself on the healing path.
The biggest relief I received from [working with Wendy] was that I was not alone and that I was not crazy.
That these experiences and flashbacks were real and I didn't have to keep reliving them day to day. I could start my healing process with lasting relationships and promising recovery.

The system I provide with the HEAL Curriculum was designed for the general public because people are not healing and depending on where you go does not guarantee the help needed to overcome. HEAL Coaching provides a structured path, guidance, and accountability celebrating your milestones and action step breakthroughs.
My academic background on the culture of abuse, combined with my own personal healing journey, provided a strong foundation in understanding resilience and human behavior. This has deepened my insight into the belief systems that consistently fosters growth and healing.

A coach and a therapist can play distinct roles when it comes to working with survivors of trauma, abuse, or sexual abuse, although there can be some overlap in certain situations.
Therapists are mental health professionals who are trained to diagnose and treat psychological disorders. They have in-depth knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions to address trauma, including sexual abuse. Therapists can help with suicide ideations, PTSD, and other diagnosable conditions. Therapists use evidence-based interventions for those with psychological disorders such as CBT and EMDR.
Coaches, on the other hand, typically specialize in guiding individuals toward achieving specific goals and enhancing personal development. Coaches are trained to provide emotional support and education. Coaches possess knowledge about trauma and abuse, and typically focus on providing guidance, motivation, and accountability in achieving personal goals. Coaches help survivors build resilience, rebuild self-worth and relationships, overcome intimacy issues, and create action plans for moving forward in their lives. Coaches tend to adopt a more goal-oriented and action-focused approach, helping survivors set objectives, identify obstacles, and develop strategies to overcome them. They may provide tools and resources for personal growth.
Ultimately, the specific needs and preferences of the survivor of trauma will guide the decision on whether to seek support from a coach, therapist, or a combination of both.
Deep inside many may feel they really can’t heal or overcome these effects and if that is you, then it’s time to invest in you. Overcoming the effects of abuse is possible. It happens in stages. With abuse affecting so many areas of your life, it can feel overwhelming. But with the right help and education that specializes in your issue, healing is possible and to live a life with purpose - tapping into your potential.
Survivors of trauma respond to their abuse differently. But it is important to note that the abuse can affect all areas of your life from making decisions and knowing who to trust. It affects whether you will carry the burden of the secret alone and battle with low self-worth. It can affect ‘what’ you accept in relationships and how you set boundaries.
Many survivors get used to feeling ‘less than’ or living a sub-par life or settling for abusive or unfulfilling relationships. Many feel they went to therapy a few times or read a few books or listened to podcasts and feel that was enough - not recognizing how their life is still affected. Their relationships might continue to be abusive or unhealthy, or they cannot connect with other people or have intimacy issues. They can’t hold a job or find themselves fighting with co-workers. If you can relate, then now is the time to invest in YOU!
Ultimately though, I know that taking a leap into the unknown can be scary which is why HEAL® -There is Life After Abuse® was created. Join me on a journey to healing and overcoming and living a life of purpose!
I completely understand. You may not be used to investing in yourself - let alone spending money on your mental health. You may not believe you are worth it or if the HEAL Process can bring you closer to the life you want. Is 15-minutes of your time worth meeting and discussing a path for you? I think it is.
